February 2012
Happy Valentine's Day! You can sure bring home a lot of cards, pencils, and candy when you have a class of 25 kids! I don't really understand this holiday but I enjoyed handing out my star wars lollipops.
I have been BEGGING to take Karate class. I get to try it after basketball ends so imagine how excited I was to get invited to a Karate birthday party?! Mama said the look of joy on my face during the class made it very clear I'm going to enjoy Karate. I can't wait for March so I can try it every week!
It's been a mild winter so I've been able to keep up on my golf skills....
Dribbling....it is always a "hold your breath" time because we never know if I'll throw it to someone on my team or the other. I look for the tallest...
Passing to the tallest player - good thing he is on my team....
Basketball "defense" or perhaps landing a plane....
It's been a busy start of 2012. Due to some scheduling conflicts my basketball was moved from Saturday mornings to Friday nights. It is NOT an ideal time for 4-6 year olds, but I'm hanging in there. I am really enjoying seeing my BFF Everett twice a week, but I think we'll all be glad to get our Friday evenings back. My parents aren't sure I can count on a basketball scholarship for college. I spend most of the games with my hands inside my jersey, watching the clock to make sure I cover my ears for the buzzer, or just standing outside the action watching like a spectator. I hear that despite all that I am really cute! But in only a couple of months I've learned to dribble, I can hit the rim, and last week for the first time I actually CHASED the ball during a game.
I hear that Kindergarten registration is March 8th. I can't believe I will be in big boy school in the fall. Mama keeps sniffling when she talks about it. I'm not sure why it is such a big deal. I also heard that Mama has been searching for summer camps. She thought finding a daycare was stressful. Camp is a whole new world - especially finding ones that go all day. It appears I'm going to attend a gymastics camp that is near her work. I hear that there is lots of tumbling and field trips. It will be sad to leave my daycare after 3 years in May, but I'm ready for new adventures!
I'll let the pictures show the rest of what I've been up to....
We did lots of Valentine's day crafts on my holiday from school on MLK day
I feel like a real basketball player when I get called into a coach's huddle

On a rainy Saturday I decided to make this obstacle course. My parents say my imagination is pretty fun these days.
I really enjoyed watching the Superbowl this year. I provided replays of almost the entire first half. When I went to bed the Patriots were winning and I'm sure nothing changed right? :(
I FINALLY talked Mama into taking me to Chuck E Cheese. As long as you get out before all the birthday parties it is great fun. I REALLY enjoy it.
