Summer Fun 2010
It's been a very busy couple of weeks for us. We spent a weekend in Charleston and because I didn't want a nap we were able to fit A LOT in. We visited a kid's museum, went to the beach twice, saw my first movie - Toy Story 3!, visited the aquarium and most importantly - slept in a hotel! I sure do love taking an elevator to my room.
We also spent a weekend in the North Carolina mountains where we had to wear pants for the first time in months. We visited an amusement park called Tweetsie Railroad and had a lot of fun seeing the shows and riding the rides.
We have one last roadtrip ahead to meet Katia and Aleksei's new baby brother! And then it will be just lots of visits to the waterpark and hanging around Charlotte while the summer winds down.
Enjoy the pics....
These cars were so fun - they weren't even on a track to stop me from bumping right or left!
They had jets just like Carowinds!
My parents say this picture does not do this mini golf justice. It was on a MOUNTAIN and they were positive I was going to take one false step and tumble to the road.
It was so much fun to feed the animals
We were told this guy escaped all the time because he fit through the fence - I think I need one at home
It took a lot of convincing to get me on the chair lift - but Mommy REFUSED to climb the mountain to the kiddy rides two days in a row
Mommy says wagons are not as comfy as they appear on Little House on the Prairie
Yee Haw!
Heading out on the train around the mountain
I convinced Mommy & Daddy we needed to visit the Charleston Aquarium again. Can you blame me for running? Check out the teeth on that shark!
After mini golf I tried my hand at the arcade games - I LOVED this basketball game that was just my size
Daddy helped me jump those BIG waves
Enjoying the beach as much as last year
Dinner on the beach and the waitress brought over an Etch A Sketch - does life get much better?
Yeah - I can adapt to the hotel life
Putting on a puppet show at the Charleston children's museum
Trying another splash park in Charlotte
Mommy thought this new chair was for her - ha!
All I need is an empty guitar case and a subway station and I'll be well on my way to earning money for my first car......
This is how I cut paper every time - mommy laughs at my mouth....
