Elvis Lives

Look what Grandma made me! It is an Elvis costume - my first words when I saw it - "I excited"! It even has a cape just like I see Elvis wearing. I can't believe Grandma spent so much time making it. I am going to get A LOT of use out of it!

Also a belated Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I don't think anyone will be surprised that I spent Valentine's Day at Chop Chop. It was as tasty as ever and our cook did some pretty tricky moves that I enjoyed.

I am spending a lot of evenings reenacting the Olympic events I see on TV. My favorite is pretending to ski by pushing off the couch as if I'm heading down a ski hill. I keep stating I will "do that when I bigger."

I started soccer last week and I loved it as much as last winter. I am happy to report that my class is a little better behaved this time so there are only a couple tears and hysterics each session. I am as eager to chase the coach and follow direction as I was before. It is going to be a fun way to spend my Saturdays this winter.

After a couple bad weeks at swimming because I was scared to go down the slide but didn't say that what was wrong(I spent one entire lesson screaming "I HAVE TO GO POTTY" and crying - poor Mommy was sorry to have volunteered to bring me that day) , I'm back to really enjoying swimming and even putting my head under water. I think Mommy is going to sign me up for a couple more months of lessons before summer weather arrives.

Mommy is headed to Kentucky for a conference next week so I'll get some fun Daddy time. She is going to miss the early Spring weather in Charlotte - hope it sticks around until she returns.

Enjoy the pics and videos!

It has a cape!
Super excited to be Elvis
Belting out the Elvis classics
I made this shirt myself. I was so proud of myself and asked to wear it daily (Mommy hid it - I'll find it - I know I will)

More Elvis dancing......
