Halloween 2009
It has been a very rainy month as we geared up for Halloween. But that didn't stop me from enjoying the events around town. Highlights included a pumpkin patch, last visit to Carowinds, and of course Trick Or Treating.
My biggest news is that I am now sleeping in a big boy bed! I crawled out of my crib twice in one day so my parents made a very fast change of my room. Down came the crib, up came the bed. It has been an easy transition as I seem to have no issues sleeping in a real bed. I don't even realize I can get off the bed and play with toys. Instead, I sleep when I am supposed to and call for Mommy & Daddy when I wake up in the morning and wait patiently on my bed.
I am happily telling everyone that I will be three on Saturday. Can you believe I will be three?! I wonder what three year olds do? Maybe I'll finally be big enough to run with scissors, drive the car, and pour my own milk. We will be having "chop chop" of course on my birthday. I can't wait!
I'll let the pictures tell the tales of the last month.
Ready to head out on a rainy Halloween
My loot! I don't know why all the good chocolate was gone the next morning. Who would take it?
Rolling out the cookie dough
Making the pumpkin shape was my favorite
I didn't care that the sprinkles weren't in Halloween colors
Aunt Lizzy- this sprinkle cookie is for you
The finished product did NOT look like my cut out shapes, but that is okay, it was still fun
Ready to go Trick Or Treating in downtown Fort Mill. They closed down main street and invited the kids!
My pumpkin is almost full!
I wasn't shy going up to the tables, but I would NOT venture near anyone wearing a mask.
Dressed as Bob The Builder for daycare.
I may look excited, but I lost interest after about 5 minutes
There was an awful lot of "ewy gewy" in there
Very proud of the pumpkin - even though Daddy did 99% of the hard work
Mommy let me sit on her shoulders and hang those ghosts. I loved doing it "by myself"
Enjoying a free fall festival at a local shopping plaza
Pumpkin picking. Excited to have found some that I could lift this year!
I insisted on pulling the wagon there and back
I REALLY enjoyed the corn maze and I lead everyone to the exit!
Excited by my big boy bed. The transition has been a non-event, I love my new bed.
Took the train downtown to watch a Bobcats practice. Too bad I could only find the mascot on this wall.
Thumbs up - we're heading to our last Carowinds trip of the season
Mommy finally convinced me to try the Balloon ride - it was fun!
My first time on the jets. It took me a couple of tries to actually figure out how to get the plane in the air
I'm not sure I'm going to be able to play t-ball in a couple years. I think I'm going to need a real pitcher!
