September

It has been a really busy month. Mommy ended up getting two job offers. She will be the new Assistant Director of Financial Aid at University of North Carolina Charlotte (UNCC). It is a bit of a longer commute than the other job offer, but it has state benefits (like 5 weeks vacation) and she can be home for dinner each day. She starts on Wednesday. This school has 23,000 students. Her last school had 800. This will be quite a change for her!

I brought pink eye home from daycare. I was lucky to not actually get it, but Mommy got it really bad. Daddy caught a mild version and have to come home from Georgia early.

Daddy is traveling a lot this month and will be back in Florida again tomorrow. But except for a trip in October and his November conference, his traveling should be done for a while.

Bamma & Bampa came and visited during Labor Day weekend. We had great fun checking out Charlotte. Mommy & Daddy were able to get the townhouse cleaned and the keys turned in while they were here to entertain me. The highlight of their trip was visiting the Lazy 5 Ranch. We took a horse drawn wagon into the animals and the animals come right up to the wagon to be fed. I was a little scared of the big animals, but loved all the pigs running around. Ostriches are VERY aggressive.

The biggest news is that I am no longer afraid of the pool! Our new subdivision has a baby pool that I loved. It helped that there was a rubber ducky floating in the first day we arrived. I also like being carried around the big pool watching all the kids play. I can’t wait for the pool to open up again next season.

Enjoy the pics!

Ready to head out and see the animals. We were up front so I got to watch the horses pull the wagon.

The giraffes are pretty, but wow do they stink

The Buffalo wasn't shy asking for food

The camel is saying "feed me"

These Emus were right by the picnic table where we had lunch. Of course I didn't want to eat, but instead wanted to play with them!
Enjoying the beach at the subdivision where Bamma & Bampa are building a townhouse. I can't wait to come visit this beach with them often.
We found this duck during a walk. He came right up to me. I think in this picture I am imitating duck wings.
Baby Picaso. I still love art projects.

The kiddie pool at my new subdivision
Blowing bubbles is my current favorite activity. I ask to do it every afternoon. We can spend at least 30 minutes out there.
Making sure Daddy sees the bubble I made
I got to help mow the lawn! (don't worry, I was just pushing it into the garage).
