Strawberries & Tractors
Hope Spring is arriving for everyone. We've been having some strange weather here in Charlotte. One day it was 30 degrees, the next day it was 83! But the warmer weather sure is nice. Most afternoons Mommy takes me outside to run around, blow bubbles, ride my car, and most importantly, move pine needles from one garden to the next!
I said my first 2 word sentence this week. I said “dis way” in response to Mommy saying “let’s go this way.” Of course I haven’t said anything else since then that resembles a sentence.
We've been having fun this month. The highlights include spending the morning at Discovery Place (science museum). Attending an Earth Day celebration where I got to see tons of animals (sheep, cows, horses, goats, ducks & more), watch sheep herding, checking lots of cool trucks, like a firetruck, and the funnest of all, ride TRACTORS. I need a John Deere!
We also went Strawberry picking. They just let you go right out into the field and pull red stuff off the vines. Finally, something where I can pick things off the ground and eating them is okay!
I've also heard that I have made it off the LONG waitlist at the BEST daycare around town and will be starting May 27th. I'm sad that I won't be home with Mommy anymore, but REALLY excited to be socializing again. I sure did love hanging out with everyone at the daycare in Florida. Now Mommy has to really buckle down and find a job so that the daycare doesn't end up being the most expensive playgroup she has ever participated in!
This was our last month for library storytimes. I sure will miss the bubbles & shakers. Can you believe they need a month to plan for summer reading programs? Not sure what Mommy has up her sleeve for May to keep us busy.
I guess that is it for now. I just wanted to share my Strawberry & tractor pics.
