Survived Christmas

I can't believe Christmas is over already. I heard grumblings that the tree is hitting the curb tomorrow. I just figured out that it was there, now it is going to leave?!

Except for my visit with the guy in the red suit, it has been a great Christmas. I even managed to open up a few presents myself. I've been having a great time showing Aunt Lizzy around Charlotte. She has taught me several fun games (drawing on the fridge, sticking out my tongue while eating).....Mommy says I am going to need deprogramming!

Grandma, Grampa & doggy Reba arrived just in time for lunch on Christmas Day. I have only had eyes for Reba since then. I'm enjoying daily walks with them and going out to eat.

It sure is going to be quiet around here next week when everyone has headed home.

I hope you enjoy the pics and have a very happy New Years!

I did NOT enjoy my visit to the mall Santa
Christmas Eve mexican dinner. I learned how to use a crayon for the first time.
Nope, I am not snooping....
Well maybe I'm doing a little tasting.....but....
It's ok. I'm Santa's helper! No really, I am.

WHOA - What is that over there? What did Santa bring?
I LOVE my new house from Santa

Christmas breakfast. Why did the adults get pecan bun and all I got was this lousy cup of milk?

First Steps!

Happy Holidays! It was another exciting week in the Hare Household. Last night I took my first steps! My parents were able to capture a little of it on video today so I made Mommy do a blog update so you could all see it. She said I should wait until Christmas, she's busy cleaning, she needs to get to bed....but I convinced her a blog update was important!

Daddy has been traveling a lot the last couple of weeks auditing all over SC & NC. It will be nice having him home all next week. This week Mommy & I went to the library before it opened to sign up for a "mommy & me" class in January. We were 6th in line. There is stiff competition here for the free programs I guess!

I am eating adult food now like a pro. I will try almost anything after being offerred it a few times. I may not eat it again, but I'll at least try it. Current favorites are pasta, chicken, peas, and quesidillas. I still won't eat huge quantities of adult food, but at least the Gerber purees aren't my entire diet anymore.

I think we are all ready for Christmas. Mommy says that I haven't gone near the tree or presents once. What she doesn't know is that I sneak over there when she isn't looking. I see some neat looking boxes with my name on them.

Aunt Lizzy arrives tomorrow all the way from Italy! I still can't say her name yet, but hopefully she'll be impressed with my favorite words - "uh oh", "whoa", "dis", "dat".

Grandma & Grampa arrive on Christmas and most importantly they are bringing doggy Reba with them. I hope Reba is impressed that I now say "woof woof" whenever I see a dog. Saying "dodgy" is so 9 months :)

Pics below include my first haircut.

Enjoy the pics and video. Have a great Christmas everyone.

How cute am I?

Hmmm...who is this nice lady?

Oh my.....what are those awful clippers? NOOOO, I hate this
Mommy - get me out of here (Mommy says this was one of the longest 15 minutes of her life, but the haircut sure does look cute)

Another Week in Charlotte

It has been another busy week in Charlotte. We went to the DMV TWICE (something about needing more id) where I helped Mom & Dad pass their written driver test by distracting everyone by dropping my cheerios all over the floor.

Today I took my first train ride into uptown Charlotte (what they call downtown). We walked all around, visited Santa (to make sure he knows I've been good), and made it home in time for a LONG afternoon nap.

I heard that this week Daddy's vacation is over and it is back to work :(. But I know mom has a lot of outings planned so the days should pass quickly.

Enjoy the pics and videos.
All bundled up for the first time. This sure isn't Florida
