11 Months Old
Better late then never! Less than a month until I turn 1 year old! No Dr visits lately, but the scale at home says I weigh about 21 lbs.
We're gearing up for the move to Charlotte, North Carolina. We have a rental townhouse for 10 months in South Charlotte. Mommy & Daddy closed on the house. Men came and boxed up all of our stuff and took it away. Mommy assures me that it will arrive in Charlotte. I managed to convince Mommy I needed a lot of my clothes and toys for the next 4 weeks so I think most of the car will be packed with my stuff.
We are all settled into Grandma & Grampa's house. They arrive back from Maine today so I think there will be "chaos" until we leave for Charlotte! They have a 50 lb puppy so I think we will be fighting over my toys!
It has been quite a month for me. I had my first airplane ride during a quick trip to Maine. I was a trooper and even managed to take a nap on the plane. I did get sick of those long security lines though. I found Maine awfully cold (this Florida baby hadn't seen temps below 70 before), but it was sort of fun to bundle up. I really enjoyed sitting on the lawn watching the seagulls and lobster boats.
While in Maine I said my first word - DODGY (doggy). I LOVE my grandparents new dog Reba. If only she weren't so big! I also learned how to get down from standing. So I now crawl and stand up all over the place. I can do a little furniture walking, but I prefer to just crawl when I need to get some place.
I now say 5 words. Dodgy (doggy, but also means any 4 legged animal). Birdy. Bye Bye. Dada/daddy & Mama.
I got tooth #9 & #10. These are molars and ouch did they hurt coming in!
Enjoy the pics.
Not a great picture of me, but you can see out the window that we are soaring at 30,000 feet

Grandma, Dodgy (Reba), Mommy & Me
Grandma thought it would be funny to try lobster hats on me....

My first dinner out where I sat in a high chair. I had the best seat at the table with a view of the ocean!
I learned how to open drawers while in Maine. It was nice of Aunt Lizzy to leave her drawers full of socks and stuff I could pull out!
It's a little windy. We took a walk near this beach every day.
At the end of our daily walk. The stroller could really pick up speed down this hill!
Getting into mischief in the kitchen
Grandma made sure that I had something to wear so everyone knew where I had been!
There are lots of fun things to play with at Grandma's house. I can't quite figure out these glass tables!
Mommy thought I would like a popsicle when my gums were sore during teething....
