Crawling!

What a week....I learned that I am in control of where I want to go. I am no longer stuck on the carpet. There is a whole new world to explore. My current favorites are power cords, trash cans, and the curtains. My parents are amazed that in 5 short days I went from non-crawling to crawling all over! Enjoy this short video. 9 Months

I turned 9 months old this week. Where did another month go? Not a lot of major developments this month. I got tooth #8 and it appears that will be all for now. I still have no desire to be mobile. What can I say? I loved to be carried around, wouldn't you?!

I did learn how to sit up by myself and I now prefer to be sitting most of the time. Mommy was sure surprised the first morning she found me sitting in my crib!

I show very little desire to eat adult food. So far the only thing I really like is cheerios. I now get cheerios while Mommy & Daddy eat dinner. I've even learned how to get most of them in my mouth now.

I visited the doc and here were my specs. Only one shot this time...phew!

• 19 lbs (25th percentile)
• 28" long (50th percentile)
• 18.5" head (75th percentile)

Aunt Lizzy and friend Andrea came to visit for a week. I got to spend 5 hours in the Tampa airport as their planes got delayed by weather. Andrea actually had a brief stop in Fort Myers! And Aunt Lizzy started off in Portland and ended up flying out of Boston! I had a great time people watching and playing on the couches at the Marriott while we waited for their arrival. During their stay I made sure to show them around Venice and showed them how to play in my pool. It was sad to see them go on Monday.

I now sit in a big boy carseat. I hope they leave these tags on...great for chewing! I'm still not allowed to face forward in the car until 1 year old though.
