The Park

It's been another busy week worthy of a blog entry! What I am most proud of is the fact that I now know how to clap! My parents think it is so cute...but I get the feeling the cuteness is going to end quickly as all I want to do now is clap! A video is below. I also know how to give high five's. Grandma says this is very old fashioned and I should instead be giving fist pumps...maybe next time.

My fourth tooth (one of top middle) has arrived and if all my drool is any indication, there are probably a couple more to follow.

I had a follow up Dr. appt that said my ears are pretty much back to normal. I had gained 1 lb in 2 weeks so I guess I've been eating more than everyone thought ;)

I had my first trip to the park this weekend. I wasn't quite sure what to think about it. I never really warmed up to the swings. But I did eventually like hitting my hands on the rocking frog.

I'm not sure about this swing thing.

Maybe not so bad? Not willing to stick around and find out...maybe next time

More 7 Month Pics & Videos

Mommy says that I have just been so cute this past week that she had enough pics and videos to make a new post. What can I say...I'm photogenic :)

It's been a rough 2 weeks. I caught my first cold and had a hard time adjusting to life with a runny nose. I will forever have a fear of Kleenex since Mommy seems to think my nose shouldn't be left running! My cold developed into a double ear infection so I stopped eating for a couple of days. Thankfully a trip to the Drs for medicine seemed to do the trick. I have 4 days left of medicine and seem to be back to normal except for my cough. I got to snuggle on the couch with Mommy a couple of nights (aka - 2am!) so that was nice...too bad she isn't happy to see me at 2am everynight!

Last week when I was sick, I woke up about 10pm all ready to play. Do I look like I was ready to go back to bed? I don't think so....

I still love to keep an eye on my parents by sitting in the kitchen. However, I now realize I can make really big noises by dropping my toys on the counter.

I tried to tell Mommy I wasn't up for a photo shoot. She did not listen!

7 Months & Swimming!

They finally took me swimming. They told me it was just like a giant bath tub...HAH! I don't have to wear a diaper and hat in the bath. It took me a while to get used to the pool, but once we sat on the stairs and started splashing I really enjoyed myself. Next time they are going to try putting me in a baby float they got. I cried while Daddy was blowing it up so they decided to save that for pool adventure #2.

It's been a very full week. Grandma & Grampa left for Maine so we had a final dinner to say good-bye and celebrate Grandma's birthday. I got my 3rd tooth (a top one this time). AND...I started daycare. It's been a rough week for Mommy and Daddy as they get used to me going to daycare. However, except for some initial tears, I am really enjoying playing with the other babies. There are several my age and I'm enjoying playing with them on the floor. This week I napped normally despite the new surroundings. I'm already winning hearts with my killer smile and giggles.
