I'm 4 Months Old!

Can you believe that I turned 4 months old this week? I survived my next set of shots like a trooper! I've grown a lot since my 2 month visit. This week I was measured in:

  • Weight = 12 lbs 4 oz (10th percentile)
  • Length = 24 1/2 " (50th percentile)
  • Head = 17" (75th percentile)

Below are some pictures and videos from the past week! It's been quite a week. The changes in the past week include:

I have SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT for 3 nights in a row!!!! Asleep from 7:45ish until 6am! I'm not really sure why Mommy & Daddy consider this a big deal. I think it's fun getting to see them during the night. But I will say Mommy & Daddy have looked a lot more rested this week.

  • Daddy got me to laugh for the first time

    • I'm starting to notice that I have feet

    • I also realized that if I grabbed the toys on my bouncy seat, noise and lights appear.

    • I also learned to fall asleep at night by myself (I suck my thumb...Mommy says it's cute)

    • I no longer need to be swaddled at night. Mommy puts me in a sleep bag.....she is so worried I'm going to suffocate. Ok, so I do have a tendancy to put blankets in my mouth, but does that really mean I need to be zipped into a bag?!

    • I love to hold a blanky or cloth!

The Hansons came all the way from Canada to teach me cards

Grandma took me on my first playdate. This is June's house and I'm meeting June's grandson Phillip.

Doggie! June's dog Maggie is just the perfect size for me! Woof woof doggie, I have doggie pants on!

      Still love my baths!

I always get "a little" cranky before bed

I finally nap in my playpen!

      Cole On Video!

So Mommy is still getting the hang of the camera video. Try not to get sea sick watching these clips. She must learn to have a steady arm!

I greet Mommy with this smile every morning....

I grabbed my first toy this week. Daddy caught my first rattle grab on film...

As you know, I love to play on the changing table, though as soon as the camera is on I'm not as active...but you'll get the idea.....

I play under my activity mat at least once a day. You'll hear the music from the star for the first part of this clip. Mommy, Daddy & Grandma hear this music haunting them at all hours. Some genious decided it should only last 3 minutes. When I play under here for 45 min+ you can imagine how many times the music gets rerun. Thankfully I don't always need my music to be happy!

      Happy Valentine's Day!

      Will you be my Valentine?

Nope, no idea why Daddy is taking all these pictures of me

      SMILE

I'm not sure about these toys...everytime I bounce in my chair they come closer!

I help Daddy make dinner by giving directions from my chair

My first Superbowl....still showing my Patriot pride even if they couldn't make it to the final game

Where's Cole? (Waldo might be around too)

Mommy just can't stop taking pictures of me sleeping in my swing

I actually have no idea that I have this toy in my hands until I bring my hands to my mouth!

I'm really starting to look like a real little person...wouldn't be confused with a newborn anymore

So Mommy & Daddy had decided that I should stop taking my evening nap right before bed. The first night they try and stop me, I fall asleep while they are eating and my bouncy chair is making lots of noise. Why won't I fall asleep this easily at night?! I'm just keeping them on their toes so they realize that I am the one that sets the schedule!
